Dialbook Terms of Use
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. Who offers the app
Dialbook is developed by Igor Souza, an independent developer (a natural person). There is no company behind the app: the person responsible for Dialbook, and the data controller, is that individual.
Contact: igorfsz@icloud.com.
2. What Dialbook is
An iPhone app that helps you organise the clients, contacts and deals of your sales work. It runs entirely on your device: there is no account, no server of ours and no sync.
3. What you need to know before using it
Your data lives only on your iPhone. That is a design decision, not a temporary limitation. The consequence is direct and important:
If you lose, replace or erase your iPhone without having exported a backup, the data cannot be recovered — not by you, and not by us.
The app offers encrypted backup export and reminders to do it. Using it is your responsibility.
The backup password is yours. It is stored nowhere. A backup whose password is lost is a file nobody can open.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Dialbook to:
- store other people's data without a lawful basis for doing so (if you process third parties' data, you are the controller responsible for that compliance);
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or engage in any practice that breaches your carrier's rules, WhatsApp's rules or applicable law;
- attempt to circumvent the free plan limit by technical means.
Dialbook opens the dialler and WhatsApp; what you say and whom you call is your responsibility, including under the telemarketing and data protection laws of your country.
5. Free plan and Dialbook Pro
The free plan allows up to 25 active clients and does not expire.
Dialbook Pro is a subscription sold by Apple, on the App Store. Price, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds follow Apple's rules and your account; we do not process payments and have no access to your billing data.
If the subscription ends, nothing is deleted. You keep viewing, editing, calling and exporting everything you already have. What comes back is the limit for adding new clients, and the Pro-only features become unavailable.
Cancellation: through the App Store itself (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
6. Availability and changes
We ship updates through the App Store. We may change, add or remove features; if a change affects existing data, it will come with a notice inside the app.
We do not promise continuous availability of any service, because the app does not depend on a service of ours to work.
7. Third-party services
Dialbook opens your device's Phone, Messages, Mail, Maps and WhatsApp. Those services have their own terms, and what happens inside them is outside our control.
8. Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is". We do our best to make it work well and it is extensively tested, but we do not warrant that it is free of defects.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for losses related to the use of Dialbook is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits liabilities that the law does not allow to be limited.
9. Ownership
Dialbook, its name, brand and code are ours. The data you create in the app is yours — you can export it at any time, in an open format (CSV) or as a full backup.
10. Termination
You end your use by deleting the app. We may end support for old versions, and Apple may end distribution; neither of those deletes the data already on your device.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law, the developer's country of residence. Any dispute arising from them may be brought before the courts of the consumer's domicile. If you use Dialbook outside Brazil, this does not remove the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
